Hey All,
I hope you are well and are training hard.
Recently I was lucky enough to travel to Okinawa for my summer vacation. It was my first time to go so I was excited.
I spent my first night in Naha. Unfortunately, most things were closed, however I could go to a nice restaurant and eat some local food.
The second day I travelled to Zamami Island. It took about an hour by boat from the main Island. Zamami was beautiful! I have never seen water so clear. I stayed in a hotel surrounded by local restaurants and ate too much each day. Zamami has many beautiful locations to go snorkelling. I saw many kinds of fish, including Nemo san. For a few hours a day I could even swim with sea turtles.
At night the sky was filled with stars, something I don't see often in Tokyo. I even got to see a few shooting stars. The island was very peaceful which I enjoyed a lot. I ended up staying for four nights 5 days.
Next stop Hokkaido!!
