By now I am sure that you are all aware that we have a new champion at Ten Clover. Well Done Ken!

I am bitterly disappointed that I could not be there person, although I was fortunate enough to watch the fight live on Youtube.

I first met Ken when he was 18 and had just moved to Tokyo. At first I couldn't believe he was a professional fighter, he seemed just like a boy (punched like one too). We trained together every week for 5 years sparing and working on the pads. I have seen the hard work and dedication that he puts into every fight. Kens road to the belt wasn’t easy and there have been disappointments and set backs, but every time he came back better and stronger (now he punches like a man).

He is an excellent role model for all the young fighters in the Gym and I am grateful to have played a small part in his journey. I wish him well moving forward to higher honors and world titles (when you fight for a world title I promise I will attend).

For the rest of you keep training hard and get Ten Clover more titles.
